2024 Umpire Clinic
Umpiring for the Northville Baseball-Softball Association is a long tradition for many in our community. Umpiring is a great way to learn how to work well in a leadership role. NBSA umpires are well-trained in the rules of the game and are known for upholding the integrity of the game. The umpire program works with softball and baseball teams ranging from 7 to 18 years old at both the house and travel levels of play. Umpires are assigned games appropriate to their experience and skill level. The NBSA umpire staff is responsible for making sure that all games are played fairly according to league rules.
Pay ranges from $30 to $70 per game depending on assignment and umpires are paid biweekly with an electronic check.
Umpires must be 14 years old at the start of the season. New umpires will be paired with an experienced mentor during games to begin. Supervisors will be on site to monitor games/spectators.
Registration is $30 and can be done by clicking this link
***New umpires as well as all returning umpires with only one year of experience MUST register and attend BOTH clinic dates in order to work this season.***
